The 'coup' against Pope Francis

Even before Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano called for Pope Francis to resign on Sunday, the two men had a history, and it wasn't good.

Vigano, the former Vatican ambassador to the United States, angered some church officials in 2015 by arranging a meeting at the Vatican's embassy in Washington between the Pope and Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who refused to sign same-sex marriage certificates.
During his trip to the United States, the Pope had tried to stay above the country's culture wars. Vigano foisted Francis right into the fray. The Vatican, which tried to distance the Pope from Davis, was displeased. Two years later, Francis quietly accepted Vigano's resignation.

On Sunday, 8/26/2018 Vigano struck back.

But Vigano said the Pope earlier had lifted restrictions on McCarrick put in place by Pope Benedict XVI, who resigned in 2015.

Market crash 9/6/1937

I'm reading a book right now called "The Shemitah" it's about market crashes and the Jewish calendar. It came out a few years ago but I found it for 50 cents and a thrift store so I'm reading it now. On page 74 he talks about the Shemitah starting on September 6th 1937 and the market crashing the next day on the 7th.  I think the guy who wrote this book turned out to be a liar but I read even liars books becuase there's usually true stuff in them. So most of the dates I checked are right but I can't find this one. The September 6th/7th dates would align with 666 days since the election. I'm thinking about flagging the whole month of September. My gut is blinking red about this month. Too much going on.

Exclusive: Official Washington’s conventional wisdom on the Malaysia Airlines shoot-down blames Russian President Putin, but some U.S. intelligence analysts think Putin, whose plane was flying nearby, may have been the target of Ukrainian hardliners who hit the wrong plane, writes Robert Parry.

U.S. intelligence analysts are weighing the possibility that the shoot-down of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was a botched attempt by extremists in the Ukrainian government to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin whose aircraft was returning from South America the same day, according to a source briefed on the U.S. investigation.

If true, the direction of the investigation into the July 17 crash has veered dramatically from initial U.S. government allegations that eastern Ukrainian rebels, using a Russian-supplied anti-aircraft battery, were responsible for bringing down the plane killing 298 people onboard.

The Obama administration used those claims to whip up an anti-Russian hysteria that prompted European countries to ratchet up economic sanctions against Moscow, starting what now looks like an incipient trade war.

But the U.S. analysts dismissed those original suspicions because they could find no evidence that such a missile battery had been supplied by the Russians or was in the possession of the rebels, prompting a shift in thinking toward a scenario in which Ukrainian hardliners working with elements of the air force may have tried to ambush Putin’s plane but instead hit the Malaysian airliner, said the source speaking on condition of anonymity.

Putin flies in a plane with similar red, white and blue markings as the Malaysian airliner and was known to be on his way home after a six-day visit to South America. But his plane took a different route and landed safely in Moscow.

Bolton will also meet on Friday with Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman before holding a press conference, an NSC official said.

Top American officials have traditionally participated in the annual ceremonies as a show of U.S. support for Ukraine, which this year celebrates its 27th year of independence from the Soviet Union. Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis visited the country for its celebrations last year and used the occasion to publicly warn Moscow about its military incursions into Ukrainian territory.

Bolton's visit to Kiev comes on the heels of a five-hour meeting in Geneva with Russia's Patrushev that Bolton said resulted in "considerable progress."

The meeting nonetheless failed to produce a joint statement due to a disagreement about election meddling, which Bolton said he felt was "important to mention" and raised "a number of times."

It was there just a couple hours ago.

The Donald J. Trump Facebook page has 23 million followers.

Earlier today the Facebook page recognized Trump as “president of the United States”

And now the page does not have “president of the United States” next to his name.
