Burisma Holdings Limited
Burisma Holdings Limited was a holding company based in Kyiv, Ukraine, for a group of energy exploration and production companies. It was founded in 2002 and registered in Limassol, Cyprus, until being dissolved in 2023.[5] It was one of the largest private natural gas producers in Ukraine circa 2019.[6][7] It was owned by Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky through his company Brociti Investments Limited.

El-Sayed is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Oriel College, Oxford, attending them on a full-tuition scholarship and a Rhodes Scholarship, respectively. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University.
El-Sayed was an assistant professor of epidemiology at Columbia University from 2014 to 2015. He was the executive director of the Detroit Health Department and Health Officer for the City of Detroit from 2015 to 2017. His publications in public health include three books and several academic journal articles.
Early life and education
Abdul El-Sayed was born on October 31, 1984, in the Detroit suburb of Rochester Hills, Michigan, to Egyptian immigrant parents.[3][4][5] He grew up in the Detroit area with his father, Mohamed, and stepmother, Jacqueline, a native of Gratiot County, Michigan, both of whom are engineers.[6] His father grew up in Alexandria, Egypt, and immigrated to the U.S. to study engineering at Wayne State University.[7] His mother, Fatten Elkomy, is a nurse practitioner in Missouri.[8]
