First decoding oil painting.... Tisha B'av 5779 #painting
It's going to have two eclipses, a blood moon. 2 super moons and the transit of Mercury in the sky. Lighting hitting the mosque. I'm putting numbers and Hebrew writing in it too. Not done yet of course.....
Good job Joan, that's what all the "master" painters did in the past! Are you aware of "Mathisen Corollary" you tube channel? He has some good videos showing the "star myths" in classic paintings. When you see it, it is obvious that these paintings were done with the planetary/star allignments to further personify the biblical stories.
