Queen to give coronavirus speech on Sunday 4/5/2020


The Queen is set to address the nation on Sunday in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, marking only the fourth time she has done so at a time of national crisis. Her Majesty will tell Britons in the pre-recorded speech that she hopes the outbreak will prove the current generation is ‘as strong as any’, as well as highlighting the ‘enormous changes’ the country is currently facing.
